What hyp.lt collects, why, who sees it, and your rights under India's data protection law.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email, phone number and a hashed version of your password. Delivery and billing addresses you save or enter at checkout.
Orders, messages with shops, cases, reviews and anything you upload, such as photos.
For shops: identity and payout details for verification — legal name, PAN, IFSC, GSTIN if registered, and the last four digits of the bank account.
How the site is used: listing views and searches, linked to a random visitor ID stored in your browser. We use this for search, trends and shop statistics, not for advertising elsewhere.
Who sees it
The shop you buy from sees your name, delivery address, phone number and anything you write to it, so it can send your order.
Our payment partner processes your payment; hyp.lt never sees your card details or UPI PIN.
We don't sell personal data. We share it with authorities only when the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to hello@hyp.lt; we answer within the time the law sets.
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even if you close your account.
